Indicates that you are like most other salespeople. The fear of self-promotion is present, but only in low, nontoxic amounts. It may be occasionally annoying, but it is not likely to be serious if it remains at this level. It should be manageable by simply emphasizing the markets and prospecting techniques you are most comfortable with and avoiding those which are the most threatening. However, the book The Psychology of Sales Call Reluctance is still recommended because it can strengthen your tender prospecting areas, and by so doing, open up even more prospecting possibilities later.
