Our Story

Jason is an experienced, mature leader with a proven record in the healthcare market. He has held numerous sales and leadership positions in the medical device field. Jason was Regional Biologics Manager for Medtronic, the largest medical device company in the world. He was the Senior Area Sales Manager for Bioventus Surgical, a global leader in orthobiologics. He was also Director of Sales for Trimira, LLC, a privately held global medical diagnostic device and imaging company. Other past positions include: Area VP, Southwest for Keystone Dental, Inc. and Regional Sales Director, Southwest for Straumann USA where he earned the “Blue Vase” award presented to the #1 manager in the company. Jason attended Oklahoma State University and Sam Houston State University, receiving the BBA in Accounting. He also successfully completed the Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management from The University of Chicago/Booth School of Business.

Jalane Stineman is the Talent Acquisition Specialist at Forward Talent. She focuses on finding top talent that meets clients' needs and desires using search and vetting processes. Jalane is a founding member of Wichita Women For Good, a local non-profit and professional women's networking organization. Jalane received her bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University. Before joining Forward Talent, Jalane held a Client Manager role at Atlante Partners where she was leading full cycle recruiting efforts for their clients, as well as new business and admin support.

Robert J. Whitman is a biomedical engineer with a passion for science and a focus on people. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from Tulane University, Robert began his career as a Clinical Engineer at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where he developed a passion for early cancer diagnostics. Robert is currently the CEO of Forward Science, a vertically integrated MedTech company focused on R&D and commercializing advanced technologies. Robert co-founded Forward Science over a decade ago with the goal to innovate current technologies into more cost-effective solutions to change more lives. With Robert's lead, Forward Science has successfully launched multiple products through the FDA process and is entering their second decade of business.  

In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Forward Science, Robert also serves as an adviser to startup medical technology companies on product development strategies at the Texas Medical Center and speaks nationally on topics including oral cancer and diagnostics, MedTech startups and Entrepreneurship.
